Please help me! I need advice?
I'm getting more and more behind all the time. I don't know what to do. I know I need to close my credit cards. What can I do to get out fast. Just so I can live with out the stress. I have a job but I don't make enough money to make a difference. I pay what I can and I'm still behind. I need like 5,000 dollars. What can I do to pay off that much debt without dragging it out. I'm going to use my income tax refund for it but that isn't even going to help that much. What do i do?

I suggest you to sell your handbags and your shoes on Ebay.

Relax and don't let this overwhelm you. Fortunately, your debt is manageable and you can pay this by planning properly.
First off, get all your bills together and see what you actually owe. Identify how much money you can put towards your bills per month. Your funds will be more if you stop eating out, use the bus, not a taxi, only drive when needed, only spend money on relevant items - no more shopping.
Look at all your bills and identify which credit cards have the highest interest rate. Pay the minimum for all other credit cards and pay extra for the card with the highest interest. If you're able to transfer balance to a credit card with a low interest, do so quickly.
I would not recommend closing accounts you've had for a while as they're used to judge your credit history. Leave all credit cards at home and only spend cash on your bills.
Good Luck

put your credit cards in a baggie, fill with water, then freeze them! don't use them anymore! work out a budget so that you can pay for Bills and food and gas. you don't need those new pair of jeans, so don't buy them! all your extra cash should go towards paying off the credit cards! you're only going to be living life without all the fun stuff, but once you're debt-free, you will feel so much better! even a little every pay check helps! Good luck with that!

I'm assuming you probably don't own your own house otherwise you could get a homeowner loan and consolidate all of your credit cards. Try a credit counseling service. They will assist you by working with your creditors to decrease your interest rate and possibly take off accrued interest/fines/or fees among other things. You do have to make monthly payments that you agree on otherwise you will default and be back where you started. Just do a search for one in your area and make it sure it's a not for profit business. Good luck!

try calling a credit card help hotline or ask to loan money from a friend and then pay back, so then you don't have to pay all the interest with a regular late bill with the credit card(s).
