Do you have a 1970's song that plays in your mind that drives you crazy?

Me too! All I can remember is a phrase or two and some fine piano licks. The song was pop, but in a Gospel style. The male vocalist had a gravelly voice.

All I can remember is something about 'working on a night moon.'

I have done every search you can think of and can't find it. Maybe it was 'waiting for the night moon.'

The piano licks make me think of me of Randy Newman's style.

A link to a clip or lyric list would be dynamite.

Thanks!

Update:

Yes! You got it! and that fast too! Bob Seger it is. I like the sound, but I never could quite make out the lyrics.

By the way, I have daughters 17, 19, and 21. After seeing the video this song now goes in the trash heap.

Before any boy gets that 'chummy' with my girls I invite him to visit. I tell him we got 5 acres out back and I just bought a new back-hoe. They catch on reeeeeaaaaal quick.

.

Sorry, I never did care for the 'Pina Colada Song., but Baker Street was a favorite! No Sugar tonight -- wasn't that done first by Guess Who?http://youtube.com/watch?v=JvwqNaG85fo

Maybe "Night Moves" by Bob Seger. It was first released in 1976.

The song you mean goes "Working on our NIGHT MOVES".

In fact I think the sond was called "Night Moves". It sucks too.

There was a song but I think it was in the 80's that went, over and over, "You're Unbelievable" and sometimes that goes around in my head. I also associate it with a certain guy I was super hot for that I met right when that song started to play and we danced to it. It's horrible.

I don't know why but Marvin Gaye comes to mind.

I get disco in my head " do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight...." - heck of an earworm!
