Where can I purchase a 55 gallon barrel of diesel fuel in west Los Angeles?

sorry man - fuel doesn't come in barrels, it comes in through pipelines and by tanker truck. You would have to buy a 55 gallon tank and then have a fuel delivery service come fill it up. Note that once the fuel comes out of the truck and goes into the tank, the State considers it toxic waste. You can't sell the left-over back to the fuel company. It's the law, and yes, it's really dumb.

Do ya have a buddy that's a chemical tech. ? If so, he/she can get a 55 gal. drum, I'd recommend plastic over steel. Don't forget to ask'em for a ' flammable' label,
