Who knows where the First Mcdonalds was built w/o the golden arches??

and why was it built like that??

    The one in Coral Springs, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. They have really tough sign restrictions there about the size of signs so the golden arches couldn't be incorporated. It wasn't just McDonalds that was affected, Wendy's, Blockbuster Video, and nearly every other chain all have signs that are atypical of every other one of their locations due to these restrictions.

    in california when the McDonald brothers started the business as a small hamburger joint.

    not till Ray Krock, a milkshake salesmen, came along did McDonalds become know for the golden arches.

    Chicago, 1955, oddly enough, the corporation formed because the original McDonalds bought 8 3-way shake machines, and the supplier wanted to know why.

    The supplier had to go check it out, and thought it was a fantastic operation, boought all but the original store, and FAST FOOD was born

    I believe it started as a mobile chip truck kind of thing.Only when the idea caught on and it became a franchise was when they put up the golden arches.

    the first madonalds was a little shack out in the desert and my grandma new the guw who started it, it was built without them because it wasnt big enough
