Does anyone know how to tell what country an email address is from?
I need to file a complaint with the BBB but first I need to know what country this person is in. How can I find out?

It is difficult to figure out just from an email address where a person is but there maybe ways to figure out from mail headers where the mail came from.

it is technical.
first what appears to be the email id may not the real email id - once you confirm that then you need to locate the email server and associated domain. then trace who registered the domain. often you can't trace it without some expert level help. you rather search through technical forums that discuss such topics in full detail.
