Soak it in very hot water. Use Windex to get the glue off OR use Goof-Off.

If hot water doesn't work... try "oops", "undo", "goo gone", "nail polish remover" or something like that. Just be careful, a plastic jar can be ruined if rubbed too hard with any of these! Good luck!

Use Oops!, found in the paint section of WalMart. It takes that sticky stuff off instantly, without destroying the jar. I use it all the time for all sorts of stuff.

I soak glue off plastic in hot water with about 120cc Pinesol.

Did you try rubbing mayonnaise into it? Mayo will take sticky tree pitch off your hands, so it may work with this. If not, buy the "Goo Gone" sold in the stores.

Good, old-fashioned hot water aught to do it. It may need to soak awhile depending on the type of glue.

Sometimes soaking it in warm water will do the job. But if it doesn't, we've found nothing beats "Goo Gone" ... you buy it in most supermarkets or hardware stores.

There are a few products that work well for that: "oops" or "Goof off" or "Goo gone"
