I'm looking for a decent Graphics Card...?

I'm looking to upgrade my Graphics Card from an ATI Raedon X600 to something more capable of running the type of games I spend far too much time indulging myself in. I would be very appreciative if someone could give me some advise on what I should invest in. I'm looking to spend between $125-$175.

What should I buy, where should I get it, and why?

You could snag a Geforce 7600GT - they're about $150-160 and are quite a bit of a jump over what you've got now. I'd get it from Newegg.

Go to www.tigerdirect.com and spend your money on the X1300. I own one. It's great. It uses hyper memory, which allows you to use system ram for graphics ram (so you get a better performance without spending HUGE amounts of money on 1gb ram graphics cards). It also may let you use that old graphics card as a secondary (if your computer supports crossfire graphics). So this would be an amazing steal for you. A chance to use your X600 instead of throwing it out AND it's an perfect upgrade for you.

wait for a sale and get either an nvidia 7900GS or the X1800. I've seen prices come down to around $170. You just have to wait around.

During fatfriday, Fry's had the 7900 for 120 after rebates. Great performance for the money

Buy the Radeon 9550. It's got 256 mb of graphics memory, has a VGA, DVI, and S-Video slot, and it's CHEAP (around $100) I have one and LOVE it, the software is a pain though, i just decided not to install it, as it made my pc run sloooow. There's one made by diamond at: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTool...
