Is this a genuine MAC cosmetic item?
Hi all, I've recently become a committed MAC addict and search online everyday for mac products, particularly on ebay.
On ebay.com.au (item number: 190057929818), I have found a shadow palette (12 in 1 eyeshadows)...I can't find this on the mac site and can't seem to find it anywhere else on the net either.
Trying to confirm if it is a genuine mac item or a cheap knockoff....does anyone know?

It probably is not a true MAC item if you can't find it on MAC's website or anywhere else. Does the posting have a pic? If it does, I would print it out and take it to a MAC counter and see what they say. Many MAC knockoffs are sold on eBay. I read an article on there once about what to look for when a MAC item is fake. Try to look for the article. It should be on the left hand side under a column called "related articles". I hope this helps and good luck with everything!

Its fake, i have worked in both america and australia stores for MAC and i have NEVER seen anything like that...MAC does not give sponge applicators we give the 213SH brush in all our palletes, and none of our products are 'MADE IN C ANADA' things like that originate in China - the counterfeit capital of the world.

i have never seen a pallette with more than six and they never have sponges in always brushes to apply. Plus mac always looks glam and well presented this looks cheap its a fake! DO NOT BUY IT

oh i'm sorry honey, but that's not real : / mac never released palettes that look like that. i you're bargain hunting, buy the pro pan palettes, but never pay more than $9 since that's what they cost. good luck mac hunting!
