crow about=brag
counts=matters
stable youngster= colt, filly, foal (don't know any 3 letter word for that.
an a=ace
fascinates=captivate
hair fringe=bangs
roll of cloth= bolt

Crow about would be "brag", and roll of cloth or wallpaper could be "bolt", hairdo fringe would be "bangs".

crow about means to complain. Try "beef" or "carp"
Stable Younster - think: baby horse, try "foal"
Roll of cloth - try "bolt"
