Well the only answer I can think of is that you may need to download Winzip. Go to http://www.winzip.com/ and follow the links to download the trial.

If the file name has the extension .zip, then use pkunzip or winzip.
You can find either of these programs will have a free download to allow you to unzip them.
Before you unzip any file downloaded from the internet, I highly recommend that you scan it for viruses before you unzip it.

I think all Windows based computers have some sort of zip extraction built in. Go to the .zip folder you want to open, right click on it and select "Extract All". From there just follow the instructions and choose where you want your new files to be extracted to.
