What are your thoughts on LimeWire?

The programme itself is legal

The use of it to download music ISN'T legal

It can cause problems (like most things...) you are safest if you make sure everything in your library is set to "not sharing files"...

Limewire sucks! Kazaa sucks even worse. Loaded with spyware and adware. Go to http://www.allofmp3.com./ You can buy music there for 7 to 11 cents per song (when you change the bit rate to 128... or so I've heard). You can get full CDs for around a dollar, thats also just what I heard...) I dont know how legal it is, but then again, I dont know how legal Limewire is either.

i have downloaded and IT IS NOT SAFE it gave me virus but instead i got myself bearshare and it great u can get music and video and other things 2 so i got this instead of limewire and it is safe and i have been using for a while now

it's safe, don't know if it's legal. i can listen to any songs i want to download, but it won't let me share any of my music after i save it to my computer.

DO NOT GET LIMEWIRE IF YOU DONT HAVE A FIREWALL!!! its causes many problems if you dont have one, i had to delete mine because of that problem. but my dad is going to buy me limewire pro

I have helped several of my friends safely remove lime wire since it is a persisten bug loaded with ad ware and spy ware. Read my link!

The best thing about it is it's free and u get songs that's not even on the CD. yeah it's illegal but free. i downloaded it and it put viruses on my computer so i deleted it.

i don't know if it's legal or not. i know lots of people who use it and love it. it's convenient and stupid to pay a dollar for every song you'd like to have.
