Help with diagnosing a health issue?
I had the following symptoms the other day. They came on very quickly and in 2 day have now left almost completely. Any imput would be appreciated:
pain in abdomen
Pain in lower back
increase pulse rate
no fever
flu like feeling
joint pain (entire body)
equalibrium off.
headache

Sounds like you had the flu. Pain in muscles and a weak feeling are all part of the flu. You do not necessarily need to have a fever to have the flu. If you have had diarrhea and nauseousness, you would most certainly have the flu.

Symptoms sure did sound like food poisoning, especially if they are just about gone. You were very lucky. If it occurs again, i will look it up in the Mayo Clinic book. You could also call an advice nurse, and she should be able to tell you for sure.

There is no one reference to any of the symptoms. Well, there is one or two, but there is no one way of explaining how they disappeared in only two days.
Although they may return, you should consult with your Physician with quesions. However, it could be a Medically unexplained physical symptoms or MUPS e.g. somatization disorder or psychosomatic illness which are symptoms mental in origin.
