What can cause breast tenderness?
My Husband and I had sex shortly after my period about 5 days later i had a headache for 3 days and on the 8th day after my breasts started feeling heavy and very tender. We used a condom so i know the chance of us being pregnant is slim. Could anything else cause this? Is there any way to relieve it? I have tried a heating pad and it didnt help. Thank You

the only thing that i think it can be is you are pregnant. hormones release in your body to prepare for milk flow, hence your breasts getting sore and tender. i would take a test and go to the doctor if you miss your next period also i tried alternating warm wash-clothes and ice packs on my breasts to help with swelling and tenderness. hope it helps!!

There are many things that can cause your symptoms, from pregnancy (condoms fail) to hormone changes, to other serious illnesses. Go to your doctor - only he/she can determine what is causing this tenderness.

It could be many things, of course it could be pregnancy, but there would most likely be other symptoms first. It could be pre-menstal, or your hormones could be out of balance. Give it a few days to go away on its own...if it doesn't see a doc just to make sure everythings alright.
