what,does someone go around and just give thumbs down to everyones ? ive seen good answers and some are the correct answers but there always seems to be a thumbs down what the he_ _ is up with that

sometimes, its the asker of the question that goes through and does it. i do it sometimes to my own question. it helps when i go in and pick the best answer and don't have to go through and read every single one all over again and re-read ones that i already didn't like myself. But to others the answer may fit to them.
But some people may do it so their own answer stands out.

some people are just mean. and sometimes people just put downright stupid *** answers, that have nothing to do with the question or that insult the asker. thats when I usually give the thumbs down. but I dont go around and do it. only the thumbs up I do because you get an extra point if u get the best answer

It'll be the same people who vote for their own incorrect answers if the asker hasnt picked one.
