how come Yahoo Q&A occasionally shows a blank screen and says "Drat, No questions?"?

Usually, this occurs because they are doing some repair work on the system (either cleaning it up or about to start an upgrade). Sometimes this will be the "precursor" before you see "Yahoo is taking a short coffee break" - and this is when they shut down the site completely. (They have confirmed this via the forum).
But, sometimes this just happens from a system glitch. If you push refresh (or F5) you will often see this message go away.
