By the way, there is not enough information here to solve for x. Maybe it is a simplification problem.

I'm pretty sure there isn't enough information there to solve for x
3/4 x + 1/4 x + 2 = n
(3/4x + 1/4 x) + 2 = n
(4/4x) +2 = n
x+2 = n
x = n-2
Not enough terms to solve for x
I think. Could be wrong, I'm nearly 103 years old.

^^^^ actually there is enough information, if you had 0 on the other side..... soooo
3/4x+1/4x = -2
x= -2 duh
but im not sure if it = 0.... cant see the prob

?? Your equation doesn`t make sense since you don`t have anything on the other side of the = sign. The answer could be anything. Try to put a digit/s on the other side of the = sign
