How can i train my cat to stop tearing up my bed?

I use a squirt bottle of water on my cats. It doesn't hurt em but it sure pisses them off! So when you see her start to do it, shoot her with it and then she will learn real quick! But if this does not work, consider getting her declawed.

I read in a cat training manual that when you are gone you can put mouse traps (small ones that don't hurt) on your furniture and cover them with several layers of newspaper so when they jump on them it sets them off. it scares them but doesn't hurt them. also, sneak up behind her several times with a balloon and scare her by popping it and then fasten balloons to the sides of the bed if that's where she is scratching and they become afraid of the balloons and won't go near them. also the water bottle idea is good but only when you're home.

probably not, at that age, but give her some toys like a scratching post. Are you doing anything different with her not playing with her.She could be acting out. You may invest in a crate or a pet house for her when your gone.

Cats tend to get fixated on sharpening their claws on one specific item and until they themselves are ready to change to something else, they will continue. You may try distractions to see if it works.
