I'm interested in finding a co-ed sports league in Los Angeles. I used to belong to one in Ottawa that included volleyball, ultimate frisbee, soccer, floor hockey, and flag football. I found that this was a great way to meet people.

If you want to get hooked into the local Ultimate (frisbee) scene, you might try the LA Organization of Ultimate Teams' web site:
If you're trying to steer clear of anything too competitive, check out the link for pick-up games, and go check them out. Different pick-up games bring out players of differing skills and competitiveness. You might find one that feels right to you.
