The Vatican announced the actual Tomb of Saint Paul found in Rome?!?
"Our objective was to bring the remains of the tomb back to light for devotional reasons, so that it could be venerated and be visible," said Giorgio Filippi, the Vatican archaeologist who headed the project at St. Paul Outside the Walls basilica".
Do you believe it truly is Saint Paul?

I wouldn't be surprised if it is because he was a well known figure and his burial most likely would be possible to locate. If it is, then its a great historical and spiritual find which is always great.

Well, that would be cool. It would have tremendous historical worth, not to mention being a wonderful discovery in religious history. Did the Vatican actually announce definitively that it WAS the tomb of St. Paul, or is it still just suspected at this point?
Oh, and btw, Biblehelp, who worships a tomb? I'm a Catholic, and I don't know anybody in their right mind of my religion who worships tombs, saints, Mary, crucifixes, or other objects. It's called veneration, and there's an enormous difference.

Actually, Vatican is very careful with this matter. Suppose, it is not true, you will probably never believe again in anything from Vatican. With all the information they have, they can assure to the catholic community that it is the tomb of St Paul. So I believe it. Remember, for catholics, saints are "examples" of "it is possible", Jesus is the Lord. We venerate them, not adore them.

Does it matter, it will just be one more thing that people will falsely worship. Really J-Dash, why then do people travel sometimes thousands of miles just to be at such a place to worship when Jesus said that the location of where a person was at did not matter in worshiping his Father? What mattered was that God was worshiped in spirit and truth. Because now if they do determine it to be the tomb of the Apostle Paul they will surround it in gold and candles and crosses and all sorts of other religious items and you say they are not worshiping Paul, RIIIIIGHTTTT! They will pray to Paul and you know it.

If the Vatican says it is---it probably is NOT.
NO.
They will do ANYTHING to detract from the PURE WORSHIP of JESUS the CHRIST alone.
