The last time city beat United at Old Trafford was 1974 which helped (FACT) United to go down ( even if United had of won 10-0 they would still of gone down ) and its going to be a long long time till they do it again. 30 Years and won F*ck all. you lot should try and fill you council house ground instead of trying to beat the mighty Manchester United

It was 1974 when that backheel sent you rags back to where you belong- the rest is history the rags have become a super club and city have just been typical old city but the Blue Moon will rise again in Manchester soon!

Seriously though united should flog my mighty Blues on Saturday. United have a team of superstars where as we have a team of hasbeens and some young quality- but I do not doubt the mighty City- 2-1 to City is my prediction! Eternally optomistic but we will break the hoodoo sooner then later so why not this year!

. I would however be more then happy with a draw- we have managed that in the last two league derbies at the theatre of screams and I give us a good hope again on Saturday.

Should be a cracker of a game as the Watford match aside City are in good form and United have been the pacesetters all season. Should be a non contest on paper but its a Derby and anything can happen.

    Cmon you Blues!!!

Sorry but the Law 7 of the FA Rules and Regulations state that a MINIMUM of however many minutes is added onto the end of the 90 minutes and that the referee is allowed to add on to those MINIMUM minutes. FACT. "Many stoppages in play are entirely natural (e.g. throw-ins, goal kicks). An allowance is to be made only when these delays are excessive. The fourth official indicates the minimum additional time decided by the referee at the end of the final minute of each period of play. The announcement of the additional time does not indicate the exact amount of time left in the match. The time may be increased if the referee considers it appropriate but never reduced. The referee must not compensate for a timekeeping error during the first half by increasing or reducing the length of the second half." Quoted from the FA handbook.

1974 - Was the last time, however it was perilously close last season, Van der Sar produced a wonder save from a Andy Cole volley, in the dying minutes for it to end up a draw.

Expect a very tight game, i'm pretty much aiming for a draw, defence looks a bit shaky away of late but i expect they'll be well up for the derby so expect to be pushed hard from defense.

I think however that Utd will win it, but by a 1 goal possibly late on - but not really entirely convinced by that. One thing is for sure it'll be a cracker...

24th April 1974, when Denis Law backheeled a goal to send United down, who subsequently returned to the first division, and improved ever since.

Unlike some other northern club, whose supporters are still living on their success of the 70's, where in reality their club are has beens.

Long time ago, though Citeh have really come a long way. But United is a stronger side and were getting players healthy again.
