You might remember though, back in the 60's, the classic *rudolph the red nosed reindeer* was a new and innovative show,expertly using a fresh new claymation technique for all it's characters. but when was time for a commercial...that same method had been applied to a santa claus, who was seen riding a norelco shaver!. The treating of christmas classics as a sales tool might rub most of us the wrong way... but it's been around quite awhile.
