The Canal Grande is approximately 4 kilometers long and has 3 civilian bridges(Ponte di Rialto, Ponte degli Scalzi e Ponte dell'Accademia in that order from North to South) , one rail bridge and one auto bridge (with an on/off ramp) crossing it located at the North entrance of the canal.

The Grand Canal (Canal Grande) has a length of abt. 4000 linear meters (abt. 4370 yards) and it's crossed by 3 bridges (Ponte di Rialto, Ponte degli Scalzi e Ponte dell'Accademia); a fourth bridge is under construction and will link the railway station to the huge parking (piazzale Roma).

Average breadth is 70m/77yds and a depth of 5m/16ft.
There are three bridges.

i'm going to take the bridge. i've got been in a tunnel decrease than a river. a minimum of on the bridge above, you have a battling hazard. interior the tunnel decrease than the river... properly, you get the image. thank you on your question. i wish you die peacefully, of old age.

All these answers are right but... they are building another bridge that go from Piazzale Roma to the Station. believe me, I am Venetian!

its very long....cuts the whole city in two. it has 3 bridges....Accademia, Rialto and the one near the train station.

I don't know the dimensions, but I know that it have three bridges.
The most famed is Rialto's bridge.
