tell him that i have something very important to tell u? start with telling him that this matter is very importnat for both of us as i dont want to cheat u thats why i want to be honest with u that i love some one else, he will ask u the reasons than u can give him the reasons u have.

You couldn't tell him without hurting him ofcourse.But it's better to make him upset now than later ,so tell him directly that you are seeing someone new who seems to be more your type!
