I keep having bad dreams about my mom could it mean something?

My mom recently had a stalker but he stopped following her. Then a few nights ago i had a dream that i was with her and the guy was chasing us in an explorer. then our car broke down so we got out and ran. then we get to like a board walk and don't know where he is and then i woke up. Then last night i had a dream we were out clothes shopping and there was some crazy person carring a knife and stabbing random people. We heard it from someone else so i didn't think it was anything to worry about because it wasn't on the news. Then we go into this building that has stairs and then an elavator. We were still looking for one of the stores and i went the opposite way she did and i heard screaming and i went running towards the screaming and she was laying on the floor in front of the elavator dead. could this possibly mean something

That wasn't a dream, it was a nightmare.

Nightmares occur during REM sleep, which usually takes place towards the middle to end of the sleep cycle. We remember them vividly because the they often wake us completely. Night terrors, however, happen during NREM sleep, which take place during the beginning of the sleep cycle, which generally do not rouse us to full consciousness, and thus, we most often do not remember them.

Opinions vary on why nightmares happen, but most believe that they are a way for the subconscious mind to work through a person’s problems, stresses, and worries. There are other factors to nightmares, too: watching a scary movie before bed, high fevers, and certain medications can cause nightmares.

Perhaps, you're worrying about your mother or you might be feeling guilty or something. Have you called her lately and ask her how she is doing?...she might be able to solve your dream.

Remember, "dreams are a manifestation of your own guilt".

The dream seems to be a way from your subconscious to express the concern & fear you feel for your mother. Having a stalker is a scary situation. I know this fron personal experience, but your dream doesn't mean that something is literally going to happen. You and you're mother should just be aware for about the next six months and pray that you never see this stalker again.

How old are you? Are you or any siblings learning how to drive or starting out on their own? It may be the stress of having a child grow up and leave the nest or it may just be stress in general. Tell her to try to calm down before bed, take a bath, light some candles, read a book. The scent of lavender will help her relax and fall asleep. Just to be sure, have her get her brakes checked. Maybe seeing that they are fine will ease the nightmares.

First of all, Daily experience caused you to dream about that crazy person.

In other words, you are gettin insecure now. Worries will cause you dream of it at night time. You are stress and have anxiety about you and your mom's safety. It merely means that you have too much thoughts about the safety about her.

Relax, this will not happen. It is only from your dream, your subconscious mind

It would be very traumatic to hear that someone was stalking your mother, who you love so much.

This is just your mind finding expression to it's worst fears. It is likely not a premonition, simply your sub-conscious trying to get these terrible fears out some way.

That being said, it would be very good to make sure every possible precaution is taken to make sure your mother is safe in any case, considering the circumstances.

Well, this is easy....Of course you are worried about your Mother. Give her a call and do this at least once a day to see how she is doing. Let her know you are thinking about her and are concerned for her safety. I am sure she will reassure you and eventually over time your bad dreams will diminish.

It could just be your natural instinct to protect your mother due to the past incident. Or you could be catching vibes because dude is still around - - be cautious because stalkers don't just stop stalking out of the blue!

all it means is that you are concerned for your mom's safety and you don't think the stalking problem is over. It's always good to keep your eyes open for stuff like that. Just be prepared rather than worry about it. If need be, you and your mom go take a course for protection like judo or something, learn how to use mace (if allowed in your state), etc.

Dreams are just the way you process the information collected during the day and your life's concerns.

im a psych major and i learned that...dreams are keys to the unconscious...you could be worrying because your mother has had a stalker previosuly..and thats that nothing more...MOST dreams do not come true...but if you are scared tell your mother..make sure she buys some type of protection for herlsef and doesnt go out alone for the time being..
