Am I the only one sick of My Chemical Romance being called a punk band?

They're not really being called "punk" by anyone except MTV viewers. People could argue all day long about when punk died or if it did and what bands are responsible, but it doesn't matter at all. It doesn't really matter what you call a band, either they're good or they are not good.

I'm just sick of My Chemical Romance in general. And the rest of the scene right now. Ready for a talented band with vision and passion and their own identity to breakthrough. Ugh.

I used to be IN LOVE with MCR but that was way b4 they became mainstream now that there mainstream i dont look at them as punk there more like pop-punk in a way i guess same with fallout boy
