Americans Could Care Less About Our Nation?

Question

I must be the only person who thinks  goverment has violated the laws set forth to govern our nation and people (declaration of independence ,the constitution and the bill of rights ) to ensure freedom and liberty to our citizens would not be infringed on .Government was to be a servant to the people .Not the people to government .The meaning of these documents was clear from the words written ,and the  writing  by the founding fathers who authored them .Our legislators have passed laws that victemize our citizens and violate the oath  they swore to uphold and obey .With total disregard for these documents ,to eliminate the safe guards  put in place to ensure freedom  ,and control over  government  . Government is robbing and victimizing our citizens . Destroying the  America we know .In exchange for making the rich richer  the middle and lower classes poorer .Enslaving our citizens .I asked people to think of the life we leave our children .To unite . The most  concern is my spelling.

I think it's great you care so much.  I was a Republican all my life until this last term.  Now I'm not so sure.  However, great Presidents such as Roosevelt and Jefferson overstepped their constitutional bounds for the right reasons; so the infrindgement isn't always wrong.  This adminstrations infringements have been - especially using 911 to attack Iraq and just making the world (and the Taliban) hate us more.

I would have to agree with your way of thinking...in that our gov't. and politicians have proven over and over that it's not us "people" that they are any longer concerned about.... but rather, in my opion, the almighty $$$, and how much of it they can possibly stuff into their own pockets......but, still can turn around, & put a "guilt" trip onto Americans about, homeless people, (& how it must be up to the people to solve our nations problems...which, I'm all too certain, a common laborer, or someone who has to work for a living can and would do a much, much better job at tending to the world affairs, than any politician remembers how to!!!

I fully agree with you. Everything is now so politically correct, that a person cannot take a **** without offending someone and getting sued with a, once again, new law put in effect. I honestly think that the majority of Americans have been blinded and offset by the Govt. and other cronies in the offices, that the truth is now unseen. I also think it is pat time that the Govt. realize that, WE THE PEOPLE, put their asses in office. Therefor, THEY work for U.S.(US), WE DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!!!

Ok, I agree with you.  I dislike alot of things about our government.  That is why I get educated on the issues and go out and VOTE.  Also, what was your question?  That seems mostly a "Rant and Rave"  Also, I don't care about your spelling, but if you do, use the spell checker.
