You don't log in with your full email address into your yahoo messager account. Use your user name and don't log in with the @yahoo.com part.

Well tonight Messenger is down all over.There has got to be a way to e-mail Yahoo directly about problem but I'm not sure how.

dont post your password that is asking to be hacked into remove this at once. yahoo messenger is down for system updates and repairs

scheduled maintenence - everyone is down...go to the messenger login, change preferences to Firewall with no proxies - and log in. I don't know what that does but it worked. Im in and talking to my firend. ***note my friend doesn't show on-line but he is.

It's down for maintenance..should be back soon. Some say they are having luck changing their connection settings. I tried that, but it didn't work for me, so will wait it out like everyeone else.
