i got back into messenger, but all my contacts r gone...what do i do?

This happened to me too and at first I was a little concerned but what it really was is that I had it selected to show only online contacts. And since no one was back online yet on my list they were all hidden. At top of YM go to Contacts then check Show Offline Contacts. should fix it for you.

I would Log back off and wait at least 30 minutes Then sign back on And Make shure that your tab Is pointing down not to the side! Hope that works!
