Should I try to stay shorter than a guy a just started dating?

i am a short guy. just talk with him and see how he feels.

hun, it's a all a personal preference. i would doubt that you would be the first person to date him that loves to wear heels. been reading the answers from all the other users and it would be best to speak to him about this. i know that when you just start dating someone that it can be difficult to really communicate about what's on your mind. you might want to write him a letter, send him an e-mail or send him a text if you can't bring yourself to just ask him. he shouldn't be offended by your asking, he should appreciate that you care enough for him to even be asking him. how do you feel about being taller than your man? if it doesn't bother you, it shouldn't bother him. it's such a small obstacle to over come when you look at the bigger picture of things.hope it works out well for you.

Sometimes it hurts a guy's pride if a girl is taller but if you love to wear heels, it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you should ask him and see. Or see how he reacts when you wear the heels. The eyes can't hide what the mouth won't say.

I am a tall girl. I am 5'8". I was usually the same height if not taller than the guys I dated. It didn't bother me or them. I went ahead and wore my tall shoes. The man I am with now is 2 inches shorter than me. He doesnt care at all. He thinks it's hot cuz I am taller.....plus, you spent money on the shoes, so wear them!!!

I had the same problem- a guy I was dating was about the same height as me when I wore tennis shoes but I liked to wear heels and when I did I had to look down at him. It was kinda weird but don't worry about it-he likes you for you and not for your height, right?

I wouldnt worry, as long as it doesnt make him feel really bad about himself (which it might) but I mean look at all of the top models, they are taller than their guys!

If that's your biggest problem, you've got it ok. Either wear 1 inch heels or he gets cowboy boots.
