how do u get the basement key on pokemon crystal....?

As soon as you leave the Gym Leader, the Professor will give you a call.

He'll tell you there are weird Team Rocket transmissions being sent out and

wants you to check it out. And there's only one place to find out odd

transmissions, that's right, the Radio Tower back at Goldenrod city.

The walkthrough here is pretty straight-forward; so I won't go into much

detail. All you have to do is go into the door that leads to the next room

until you reach to the very top, while having many Pokemon battles along the

way.

When you do the reach the top, you will be confronted by the Boss of the

tower -- or so it seems. Soon after, he will take off his costume and reveal

himself as the Team Rocket Boss you fought back in Part 2. This battle will be

kind of tough, but all you need is a Psychic type like Kadabra or Alakazam with

Psychic. Win this battle and you will be awarded with the Basement Key.
