    I am a native Chinese speaker but I can't

    figure it out.

  • Not sure...Any chance you can write it in kana. the '...im as' part could be 'imasu います。which means '...it is'

'...bon...' could be a counter for something long and slender and is written has 本

But that does not make sense because 'donbon' makes no sense has a counter.

maybe it could be yonbon written has 四本which means 4 slender objects

But then 'Yon bon imasu' 四本います。(it is four) does not really make that much sense either.

Sorry I cannot be much more help than that.

it would probably be a little more helpful if you gave us the Pinyin for it...i'm not quite sure...it doesn't really seem like chinese, and i don't think that it's japanese either...
