Help me please.....?
The OS in my computer a week ago was windows Xp professional. And me and my friend was using the system--I as adminstrator and he as a user. And there was a switch user option in the log off menu that helped me to allow him to log in without logging me off and thus not losing what I was doing...
A few day back, because of some technical problem, I had to format my computer. And now the OS is windowx Xp media centre edition. But there is no switch user option in the log off menu. It is creating a lot of problem. Whenever he wants to log in, I have to close all programmes and log out.
Is there any way to bring that switch user option there?????

This answer is there in the help section of Windows itself. You could search it in Fast User Switching in the help. You will have to go to the User Accounts in the Control Panel. In that there is an option called "Change the way users log on or off" To specify that a user's programs remain running when another user logs on to the computer, select the Use Fast User Switching check box. This option is available only when you are the administrator now and the computer is configured to work in a workgroup and not on a domain. You don't have to worry about these things if you are able to change the option, but if you are not able to, you know where the problem mostly is...
