Canon PowerShot A300 screen is blank?
The camera comes on but no image on screen.
Tech support online shows no information for this camera.
I tried the display button and it doesn't change anything.
The normal little icons all show up but you can't shoot an image nor does it show one.

I have the same problem with my a300 and just found the answer. Canon will fix it for free. If you haven't had luck . 1800 828 4040 (support)

Is there a "display" button on the back of the camera somewhere? If that was pressed, it'll turn the display off. If anything else, go to the Canon support website. Good luck!

Im having a similar situation, my show is black. I positioned it on and there's no image or menu that comes on the show, that is black. The digital camera can take pictures and that i will upload them to my pc, yet completely BLACK show!!!!! help!!
