why are u liberal or conservative?

I'm conservative because I want a government that interferes less with my life and I want more fiscal responsibility and less taxes. I am pro-life and anti-terrorist and I'm against allowing people to immigrate illegally into the US.

The liberal part of me is sympathetic to the environment and opposed to big businesses trampling on individual workers' rights.

Conservative because I don't believe the government should treat its citizens like children: telling us how to spend our money, re-distributing wealth from hard working people to subsidize a welfare state, or pushing fringe lifestyle/ideologies into mainstream America through the court system.

Not to mention, conservatism/capitalism works. Unlike communism/socialism that has failed everytime and everywhere it has been tried.

I am a conservative because as history has shown capitalism works and Communism (socialism, same thing) doesn't. And of course all that other stuff about not wanting to kill babies and family values and well you know.

I'm a Liberal because I care about other people.

Conservative. Because our country has been mightily blessed, and I'd like to keep it that way.

And what party is conservative, exactly? (for the guy above)

I'm conservative. The ideals of Liberalism seems wrong. It just seems like Liberals want something for free (instead of working for it). I just don't think anyone owes me anything. If it's meant to be, it's up to me. That's what I think Conservatives think.

I've never understood it either. If only life was that simple! How people can demean themselves by allocating all their personal beliefs to a political party is sickening.

I am a Conservative.

I am a Christian who believes in values and morals.

I think there should be less Government and everyone should work and pay taxes who is able.
