Is red a good color representing good/evil?

I think red could be a good color to represent evil, as long as you use blue to represent good to go along with it.

It represents many things:

In studying child behavior, research has shown that it is the most attractive colour to babies.

It represent's heat from the sun, and fire and when connected with fire it can represent evil in a given circumstance.

In China, it is a blessing and represents a gift of money.

On Valentine's Day it represents love with red roses and red hearts.

Red, indicates you to stop either at the traffic lights and on your mobile.

It represent danger on signs.

Complete absence of original thought on the part of the author and publishers. No, seriously - the four have similar colors for the purposes of uniformity. If you're looking for symbolism, I think it's pretty straightforward: red blood; black is Edward and white is Bella, dead and alive; or, black twilight/night/hopelessness and white hope/dawn. About as basic as you're going to get.

in my english comp class, my professor said pink was the color to represent good and evil. red represents evil and satan and white represents the virgin mary and all that is good. so, pink ovbiously represents the mix of the two

Personally, i dont know that it has much significance either way, however i did work for a real estate company once where you were fired if you wore red, it was seen as an "anti sales" colour.

Red is very lucky in Japan. All those Asians can't be wrong!

Its ok for both but overall it is seen as evil or dangerous

IMO colours are not good or bad.

I LOVE red. It has strenght.

To me it means power.
