...why do the manufacturers insist on cutesying up the packaging with 'hand written' additions to the printed information, ie; Innocence Smoothies and Ribena? Is it just me and my fella who find it quite annoying?...

See, we consumers are stupid. We have to have cutesy packaging or we won't buy. The quality of the contents doesn't matter to us.

I have noticed that though. The same thing goes for medications, like Zoloft and Lunesta.
