Well Iran is considered to be dangerous as it is not a 'democracy' like the Us would want it to be and if it acquire the nuke..it will have a means to be on the political arena and a word to say in the region and elsewhere. The US thinks its hteir duty to protect the world from the nuke..to prevent Hiroshima type attacks..irony..or..

I'm not sure the western media has succeeded yet in forming American's collective opinion. And yet, I 'm not sure Iran is allowing much in the way of positive news about America. Countries like Iran bode well from playing up the US as a great Satan, so I imagine they fear America more.

Yes dingdong, Americans are more afraid of Muslim extremists having possession of Nukes. Their leaders just hosted a 2 day summit to discuss the possibility that the Jewish Holocaust did not occur during WWII. They have also said that Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth. (Hmmm, nukes might come in handy for that).

Iranians who are extremist do not worry about US having them as we have a track record of possessing them for over 60 years, and only threaten the use of nukes in retaliation. The extremist also believe in martyrdom, trusting that if they are killed in the name of their Jihad they will get their 72 virgins as reward.

We have more to lose, because we don't get any virgins when we get blown up.

Both, but Ahmadejiad is evil and wants to take over the world and doesn't care how being bombed will hurt their own people. He is obsessed with himself and acquiring power. He is nothing less than another Hitler.
