Suggestions for a Christmas present...?
I have just met this man and here comes Christmas. Dated twice and think we will be together for Christmas. Like many relationships, you always hope this is the "one". Now grant you, we are middle-aged and both married before. He's very special, but I don't want to scare him away either. I have suspicions that he will get me something nice, he's that kind of man. Any thoughts from the "older" crowd out there? Thanks!

Why not buy the both of you some tickets to a show and plan an evening where you'll pick up the tab. Put the tickets in a big red box with a beautiful bow on top. Show him you've taken the time to wrap up a nice present just for him. What do you think both of you will enjoy doing together? A Broadway show? A hot air balloon ride? A trip into the moutains, walk around some small town shops and end it with a candle lit dinner? A day of skiing? A trip into a city for a day at the museum and dinner? A dinner cruise? Perhaps, put the tickets or a made up "coupon" you made and stick it in a coffee cup with some sweets? As for the scare him away....jewlery would be out of the question and who wants another tie? A home cooked meal might be nice? Wish you luck though...he sounds like a keeper! Merry Christmas!

He might not need "stuff". If that is the case, try getting some tix to a show, play, concert. If chatchas are his thing, go on line to www.overstock.com and get one a lot cheaper than anywhere else, perhaps.
