Ladies what do you think when a man calls you stupid ?

being called stupid is like being awarded the woman of the month clubs honor. when it comes to men calling you stupid, it's all relative. If he himself is stupid, which most likely he is, then you have obviously made what ever you have said or done to make him think you are stupid impossible for him to understand and therefore are above him in thought, and manners.

If you let a man call you stupid, he will be calling you a lot more eventually. It is very disrespectful, and very hurtful. When a man calls you stupid, it's usually a control issue he has. A real gentleman would never make a woman feel that way.

I feel it is disrespectful for anyone to call anyone else names of any sort. This is an activity that should be confined to bullies in the grade school playground. People that call others stupid, or anything else, have communication problems and need to dig deeper within themselves to figure out what they are really saying. Are they saying they feel superior? Are they saying they need to feel superior? Does a man who calls a woman stupid do this because in reality he feel inferior and needs to make her feel lesser? I think when it comes down to it, it's an uneducated person's way to express themselves and all they are doing is advertising how unintelligent and ill-mannered they really are. When you look at it that way, their statement has no worth, and if it is said to you, a feeling of pity and sadness for the other's lack of intelligence should overcome the anger of being called stupid.

I'm a male and even I think it's a low blow to call a woman stupid,it's uncalled for.

It s abuse quite frankly. My Dad yells at my mum calling her a stupid woman and I think he has real insecurity and control issues. But she just puts up with it. I d say get away from that man as fast as you can.

It is a horrible thing to say to someone. My ex used to think it was okay to say things like that i was stupid, fat, etc. I eventually had enough after many years of abuse and kicked him out. He still doesn't understand how much his remarks hurt and how it eventually helped kill my love for him (along with some other problems)

I'd only have to be called 'stupid' one time before I'd walk away, so I agree that it would be a horrible thing. What's even worse if that women tolerate being called such names.

i can't say there aren't stupid women out there that don't realize it and SHOULD be called that to snap back into reality but for the most cases i think it's wrong... it's degrading to call anyone stupid especially when it's a male figure calling a woman stupid... but like i said that really depends on the situation...if it was a husband that's cheatin on his wife... calling her stupid for not findin out or 4 "makin him cheat" then that's pathetic... buh if a man calls a woman stupid for let's say... cutting herself... i'd say... that'd b alright... if he adds that's foolish and you should never do that... stupid can be quite ambiguous but it should never be used to degrade a woman by a man

Yes. I agree. The ones who have called me stupid for any reason is history. Always will be. Nothing more.
