What are your thoughts on this?
First of all, HIV, it effects the DNA of the human body. DNA is what makes us unique.
When HIV violates the body, it goes directly to the DNA.... Sends a message... YOU will no LONGER produce human cells, but, you will produce me..... It Takes over your body in that way. ( it is more complicated then that, but you get the idea) Why would you have unprotected sex with someone that may have this disease or any other or at all? May I just say, if you can not say outloud/type the words Vagina, Penis and Perineum.... Or afraid to see a doctor to ask these questions, get properly tested. You probably should not be having sex. Does anyone have any thoughts to this????

Get 'em girl! I agree! If you can't say vagina, penis, etc or are afraid to go to the doctor then you should not be having sex period! If you are dumb enough to take the risk and not get any information on it first then you pretty much deserve to get it. People think sex is nothing, but when they get an STD they freak out and wonder why... figures!

I would say that it's each person's responsibility to learn his/her own HIV status (other diseases too), and also to learn the status of his/her sex partners. Unfortunately we can't assume everyone is going to do either of those (in fact most people don't).That's why I'm glad the CDC has changed their recommendations so that HIV testing is going to become a routine part of medical care, instead of just being administered to people who ask for one.
Not sure that's what you were asking, but they're my feelings on the subject.

Yeah, I think this isn't taken seriously enough, the statistics say that 2 out of every 8 or 10 teens have an std, that's a chance I would never take, because that's just too many people who have it and can spread it around.

First of all HIV does not affect in any way the bodies DNA....what it does is lowers and changes the bodies immune system to such a point that diseases that usually do not kill people will eventually kill someone with AIDS......
