besides going to the internet options and deleting your internet files and deleting some of your not needed programs is there a nother way of getting more space on your hard drive or can you open up files and just start deleting

Something I find that helps is the DIsk Defragmenter. It takes a LOT of time however so you might put it at night and check it in the morning. You could also do Disk Cleanup. Both of these are found in 'Start Menu' --> 'Programs' --> 'Accesories' --> 'System Tools' --> and then whichever one you want to do.

Clean up your disk.
right click on your harddirve (maybe C:) then click properties.
Click Diskclean up button.
A window will appear then check all the checkbox and press OK.
It will clean your hardrive by deleting unneccessary files such as.
Downloaded program files.
temporary internet files.
office setup files.
recycle bin
temporary files
etc...
