flu help??
Things to do to help flu?
I have the flu, and1 know some things that will make me feel better?? My temp hasn't been normal since noon...it is 104.3 right now...
It hasn't gotten below 102.1 in three hours...
I went an urgent care center this morning and tested negative for the flu but the test is only 80% accurate and the doctor said that I probably still had the flu...he could've prescribed Tamiflu(sp?) but sometimes that causes people to be delirious.

The flu is a virus, so no medication will get rid of it. You can take meds to help relieve you of the symptoms temporarily though.
Try taking something over the counter such as Tylenol Cold and Flu or soemthing like that. That gives you a pain killer for the headache and takes care of all the other crap. The tylenol will also help kick your fever.
Drink LOTS AND LOTS of fluids.
Eat chicken and noodle soup.
Eat popsicles and jell-o.
Rest!!!!!! Not just lie there watching TV, sleep if you need it!
Don't go to work/school.

I would have definitely gone with the TamiFlu! I would be delirious with the high fever already :) FYI-Tamiflu only works for the first 2 days of your symptoms.
