How to solve a problem with XP fast user switching and having to log in twice?

Whenever I click switch users to let someone use another account and they spend a few hours on the computer when I switch back to my account after I enter my password and press enter the computer goes to the screensaver for my account and of course when I move the mouse it kicks me back out to the welcome screen. I am hoping to find a solution other than turning off the "On resume, show welcome screen" option as I want my computer to go to the welcome screen when leave it for long enough for the screensaver to activate. Any help I can get here is very appreciated.
