25 years ago I had a dream where I was in a kind of hell. I felt the worst feelings possible. Then someone looked at me without speaking, and I understood what the person was trying to say. My anger was lifted instantaneously. This dream is the only reason why I believe that there is more out there than what is before our eyes.

I don't know if you'd call this wisdom or not...anyway I dreamed that my 20 year old daughter and I were climbing these very high metal bleechers. At the top was a clock that we were trying to reach. We were about halfway up when suddenly the bleechers began to collapse. We didnn't know what to do, but I had to get that clock, though I didn't know why. So we went faster and as I grabbed the clock we tumbled down with the bleechers. Somehow, we weren't hurt so we got up and started walking down a stone path. Then I noticed how narrow the path was and brick walls were on both sides. We could see the sky; we could see ahead and behind, but we could only see the brick walls at our sides. We continued on the path for what seemed a long

time. Eventually, we made it to an open area and we could see everything again. The dream ends.

After that, I found out that my daughter was a heroine addict. I don't know if the dream really had any significance or not, but it seems that the clock could indicate that time is running out if she doesn't stop. We've taken some huge tumbles over the past several months like the bleechers. And we have been on a long, winding, narrow path. All I could do as we pressed forward was look upward to God through the whole thing. I think we are finally near the end of the path and just about out into the open, free from addiction. After a couple relapses my daughter seems to be doing very well now, and she wants to go back to school and she has picked back up her hobby of drawing and painting. She has her life back.....and so do I.

Nothing of consequence has ever come to me in a dream.

Seeing something that was in the future, and then it happened. makes me understand why we are here..
