How long should i wait before taking a pregnancy test?
I am a few days late with my period and i dont want to get my hopes up like i always do but how long should i give it before i take a home pregnancy test.

If you are fairly normal with your peiod, you can take one now. A pregnancy test can give you an accurate result the day after you miss your period.
Or you can just wait until you are 10 days late and go into your clinic, since you'll have to take one there as well before they set up your first prenatal appointment.

You can take a pregnancy test after the first day missed period. I suggest that you wait atleast a week before taking it. Sometimes stress can throw a cycle off. Are you having any symptoms of pregnancy or just a missed cycle?

I don't think you need to wait that long, i took the pregnancy test as soon i missed my period And it was positive i think you can take the test already. Good Luck Honey.God Bless

i took it a day after my missed period ; the lines were faint as hell-- went to my doctor the next day and they confirmed with both urine and blood test...you will kill yourself waiting---go for it and good luck

i would wait a month if ur period don't come i took one asap and it showed negative and waited a month after my period didn't come and it came out positive

about 2weeks or 10 days.before that it can't be detected.
