I had the flu shot early in my cycle - could that be delaying ovulation or effecting my charting?
I have been charting and have seen a slight shift in my temp. I also thought I had some ovulation pain the day before my temp showed the shift - but the shift was less the then 3/10 suggested. I am second guessing whether I have ovulated or not and am wondering if the flu shot could have delayed my ovulation (all Dr. said was the flu shot is "safe") or if maybe my temp was effected the first couple of days making my cover line wrong and maybe as a result my "cover" line is off??? In addition to sharting we have done the Baby Dance 8 times in the last 10 days just to cover all bases... My first month charting and still confused/learning!!!

my guess would be that having the flu shot may have thrown off your temperatures...you get a live dose of the flu, though small, but that will raise your temperature just a little as your body makes antibodies so that you don't become sick later on.
Are you also charting cervical mucus? It shouldn't make any difference to that.

ANYTHING can affect ovulation....stress, diet, exercise, medicine....you name it, it can affect ovulation. The good news is that frequent intercourse can make a woman ovulate sooner. I'd say you're fine....no reason to worry.
