Where is a nice spot to propose to my girlfriend in Perth, Australia?
We're planning a driving holiday to Perth in March next week and we plan to take the Perth-Margaret River-Pemberton-Denmark-Albany-Perth route. I see a nice scenic, secluded spot with nature as a backdrop as the place where I want to propse. Can anyone help me with this? Even if it's not as what I mentioned.

Hi Sammy,
There are 3 places that I can highly recommend you propose to your girl friend. "Put they are not for the faint-hearted".
When you are down south in the Pemberton area you see the beautiful karri forests. In the forest are two famous fire lookout trees. The Gloucester Tree and the Diamond Tree, which you can climb to the top. That would make an awesome backdrop to propose. Below are links to have a look at the 2 trees.

Not far south from Margaret River is a place called Cape Leeuwin. Cape Leeuwin is where the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean meet. There is where you will see a very old light house. You can climb to the top of the light house via a circular staircase and propose there.

The last place to propose is Albany. There are two awesome land makes there. The Gap and The Natural Bridge. They are right near each other so you can take your pick. Either stand on the viewing platform over looking The Gap or use The Natural Bridge as a back drop. Watching the waves roar into the gap is mind blowing. (you might get wet)
Take a look at the links below. Sorry to say the photos of "The Gap" do know justice to how mind blowing it is.

A bit of trivia.
My grandfather was born in Albany. In the town hall was a photo of him standing with his father when he was a young boy. Don't know if its still there.
I was conceived in Pemerton and I have relatives that live near Margaret River. They have a road named after them. "Brooks Road"
Hope you and your girlfriend have a wonderful life together.
Kind regards

Propose when you are in the Margaret River-Pemberton-Denmark-Albany south west area prior to getting to Perth, there are lots of wonderful secluded areas.
The ocean front from Albany right around is wonderful. Also there is a forrest of huge trees that is breathtaking (land of the giants) in Pemberton. Margaret River has wonderful vineyards and the beach is great. Lots of cool cave tours as well.
Best Wishes

In the Pemberton there is the Tree Top Walk. Basically a walkway through the top of the Kauri trees. The most perfect spot.

1.Kings Park in Perth.walk around you will find the right spot.
2.on the ferry to Rotnest island.
3.anywhere along the coast that you mentioned. lots of quiet areas to stroll along to pop the question.
