Has anyone ever done a JAVA training course ?

IF you have, how did you do.

I did it twice and i'm trying to pass it the third time around

Update:

Im not interested in hearing anything about Oracle, etc.

Stick to the question

Update 2:

I forgot to mention that I'm doing it as part of a 3-year Diploma, also that I'm doing it via correspondence as I also work full-time, so I don'/t have classes I go to, or tutors I can ask for help

I did one summer...it was brutal...like a 2nd full time job. Took about 35 hours a week of my time. You'll hate me...but I aced the class.

    What's hanging you up?

I did a 1-week from Oracle here at work. Wasn't bad, but it's about my 6th programming language. I'd suggest picking something easier to use first (like Pascal or similar), but teaching languages are essentially useless beyond the classroom, and Java's about the easiest OO language to learn.
