If I post a message to a yahoo group member, can the moderator view it?

If you simply hit reply to an email that has come to the group, then your response will go to the whole group.
If you click on a member's address, or use the pull-down menu at the top and choose only that member's address rather than the group address, then the moderator nor anyone else in the group can see it.

Sometimes the moderator does. For instance when you are new to a group you're input is monitored for safety reasons and content.

its like email, or anything really - they have packet sniffer for everything.. and i'm under the impression that they save everything to go through later if they need to. `shrugs` they're just getting intel at the moment - eventually they'll do something... but i'm thinking that it wont be 'till after the antichrist says hi.
which.. would suprise me if it's not soon - the bavarian pope & islam supporting 33 degree masons (see their hats for small example) seem to be pushing for holy war.

it depends... i think they target certain words so when you type it it is sent to them so they can read it
