My sister's laptop will not connect to the wireless internet in my house. Where can I find they key code?
We have wireless in our house and my sister can't connect from her lap top to my computer, where the modem's are. Where can I find the key code that will allow her to use the internet?
I'm sorry I'm not very technical with the terms and such but any help is welcome! Thank you!!
I do have a router but I'm not even sure how to get into the specific set-up page for it. I have many of them.

First figure out which router you have and check the manufacturer website for more information.
Usually if its a Linksys router you would enter:
D-link is http://192.168.0.1/
Then just check the wireless section and then you can get the WEP/WPA key.

Hmm... the place to start? Throw a cable on there first and spot in case you may connect under pressure. examine the firewall on his laptop. examine the config monitors on the prompt router to make sure in case you have sufficient accessible IP addresses, if not, upload extra. examine to make sure in case you're filtering by MAC handle, and upload his by going to "Run", variety cmd, then ipconfig/all to discover the MAC of the laptop prompt. examine the 'community community' reveal to make sure if the community is poaching off your router, if so, delete them out. stable success! i'm on Yahoo Messenger as 'grabsack' for a pair extra hours in case you decide on extra help.
